Beautiful Rosalie de Barante is one of the most graceful dancers on the London stage, but the lords who fill her theatre seek amour, not art. Among them is Gervase Marchant, Duke of Solway, who stands out from the rowdy crowd as a true gentleman—setting even worldy-wise Rosalie aquiver. And when he takes her in his arms, she can feel the beating of their hearts—dancing a dangerously seductive duet.

At the time I wrote it, Ireland was a non-traditional setting for a Regency novel. When Rora Donellan pays a visit to her grandmother, Lady Liscarrol, she encounters a gentleman who has cause to distrust her family. The book takes place near Kilkenny, and contains many elements of early 19th century Irish country life: horses, dancing, and a ruined castle.
