Portugal From the UK we hopped down to Lisbon, and thoroughly enjoyed the region, its culture, and mild weather! The monument to Henry the Navigator, in Lisbon. It dwarfs my linguistically adept husband (the speck on the right), conversing with a Portuguese gentleman--in Portuguese! We toured this magnificent palace...
