Brussels lace shop where our family wedding veil was purchased
When my grandmother was young, travelling across Europe with her sister, they purchased a magnificent Brussels lace veil at this exact location. The facade was probably different then, and now it's a dress shop instead of a lace emporium. That veil has been worn by many generations of family brides: my grandmother, my mother, my aunt, their cousin, her daughter--and me!

The Mannequin Pis
You can't visit Brussels without stopping at this famous landmark, the Mannequin Pis. He wasn't wearing any of his outfits at the time we were there.
