Whenever I'm in London for work and play, I miss my two dogs terribly, and find myself photographing almost every dog I see.
The first dogs I met were in our very own street, Buckingham Gate..
The next dog was just round the corner, at the little park in Victoria Street. From the enthusiastic way he was running around, I suspect he lives in a rather small flat!
Smith Square appeared not to be dog-friendly.
But wait--there's a separate area of the square just for dogs!
The extensive grounds of Chelsea Hospital are a dog's paradise. This dog found a piece of wooden building material and carried it all around, demanding that it be thrown for him. Typical retriever!
This dog, watching the other one, was too small to pick up a piece of wood.
This dog was being walked along the path. The rail fence separates the hospital grounds from Ranelagh Gardens.
Inanimate dogs in an antiques shop window, Royal Hospital Road.
In Kensington Gardens, where there are many, many dogs.
My very favourite dog--a Border collie. She was raising funds for the Poppy Appeal on Remembrance Sunday. I had a lovely conversation with her humans. She's a country girl but seemed to enjoy spending a day in London. < < < Travel Menu All Rights Reserved. |
