You've come to the right place for information about my novels
and other aspects of my life.
What's new?
Summer wakens my roses, now in abundant bloom, as are the perennials. Keeping up with the weeds is always a challenge!
My historical novel about 17th century aristocrats and royals is completed. I'm already at work on the next novel, in which I return to the 18th century, but I've been indulging myself with fiction-reading across a variety of genres.
I osted my November-December 2008 travelogue! and now that the legislative session is within hours of being over, I can add the 2009 version--London, Antwerp, The Hague, and more. As a preview, here I am at Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, setting for a couple of scenes in my novel.
Pictured here are my completed novel's protagonists, a young duchess and her duke.
The map below--St. James's and Westminster--shows one of the areas in which my real-life characters lived and loved.
Springtime travels to the sunny South and musical Montréal were delightful. In coming weeks I expect to spend a great deal of time at our lake cottage, and am planning the next trip to London and East Anglia.
I'm regularly blogging. The blog serves as a diary of my activities, literary and otherwise. (Mostly otherwise!)
I hope you will bookmark this site, and return from time to time.
